Bangkok
Called ‘Krung Thep’, City of Angels, by the locals, Bangkok is one of Asia’s most cosmopolitan cities, and the financial, political and cultural capital of Thailand, located in the centre-south of the country, in the heart of a fertile rice-growing region.
Bisected by the Chao Phraya River, which is overlooked by all the major palaces, Buddhist temples and luxury hotels, Bangkok is a wonderful dynamic place, where activities, food stalls, shops and markets never stop.
Thailand is an amazing place of contrasts, and a stunning Asian capital to discover. |
